PRS started out with Mick and son Paul in 2008, during the recession and working from a van carrying out site work. They then moved on to a permanent site in Salford occupied by EnerG Combined Power and started carrying our work on behalf of EnerG. From there they moved into their own unit on the same road, which enabled them to continue to work both for EnerG but also gave them the freedom to acquire new clientele. Steadily work picked up and the client base grew. PRS doubled in size, staff and turnover every 4 years and continue to go from strength to strength. PRS now occupy 6 units which includes 4 companies.
PRS Fabrication Services Ltd: established in 2008
PRS Contracts Ltd: was born due to increased workload and was set up to handle contracts prior to the fabrication stage.
PRS Spray Bay Facilities Ltd: founded in 2017.
PRS opened their own wet paint facility due to the demand for the finished product and we were finding it hard to get a good turnaround elsewhere. Opening our own booth gave us full control over jobs from start to finish. We prime and paint brackets and pipework. We can also offer a 3-coat system which gives high corrosion resistance to sub-sea grades
PRS Business Group Ltd: the newest company to become established, was set up to manage the finances and day-today running of the other 3 businesses.
The company currently employs 18 members of staff.
